Laura is a melancholic twenty-something from the wilds of Sturgeon County, Alberta. She is trying to get better at making art, and making it more often. She spends as much time as possible exploring the nooks and crannies of Edmonton's art and music scene, meeting new people, and keeping up her many hobbies. Some of those include insect taxidermy, altering and making clothes, printing zines, and taking photos with disposable cameras. Recently, she's been trying to get into independent film-making.
Laura also loves travelling to wild places, and over the past few years, has spent some time in South America and the Middle East. But for now, Laura is grounded, bent upon exploring more of her own country. The birth of this blog is to motivate Laura to do and document more. On the sidebar, you will see a list of "sticky note goals." They are lining her bedroom mirror, and it is her aim to complete as many of them as possible before the year is out. Wish her luck!
